Savvis Joins Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — June 1, 2009 — Savvis, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVVS), a global leader in outsourced managed solutions, cloud computing and network infrastructure for IT applications, today announced it has joined the Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program to help guide independent software vendors (ISVs) and ensure their business model and applications are ready for service-based delivery.

The Microsoft Software + Services Incubation Center Program is designed to ease the commercial, financial, and technical challenges ISVs and enterprises encounter as they build and deploy software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models.

By joining the program, Savvis will gain access to Microsoft customer relationships and participate with Microsoft in Business Development Consulting and Technical Design Services. Savvis customers will benefit from shorter time to market, reduced risk and lower levels of investment by utilizing Savvis lifecycle services. This new category of services assists ISVs through all the tasks involved in development, integration, delivery and manages of their applications. In addition, Savvis’ solutions deliver virtual development labs, virtual and dedicated load testing services and multi-tenancy functionality to global enterprises and software companies of all sizes.

Already a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for hosting, Microsoft selected Savvis based on its abilities as a global hosting and IT infrastructure services in delivering SaaS enablement services to ISVs and enterprise customers.
