The reception of the announced new programs at our annual Alliances event, Ascend, was overwhelming. Top-tier media covered the news from multiple angles, social channels were buzzing, and event attendees were incredibly enthusiastic. We needed a way to make sure our partners continued to see the depth of our commitment to the channel in action.
That’s why our participation at partner events and industry tradeshows in the last few months has been at the top of the priority list. Not only did we beef up our sponsorship support and drastically elevated our presence, but we’ve identified and will continue to look at all the ways we can add value – whether through product demos, training, executive meetings, or simply grabbing time to meet and discuss real-time feedback.
On the heels of Ascend in February, we started preparing right away for the Channel Partners Conference in April. It was the perfect opportunity to connect again with everyone and we kept plenty busy at the show. Our Premier Sponsorship ensured we had a booth presence to showcase our Cloud Application demo, and we had a blast keeping the rock ‘n roll theme going as we hosted the opening reception. Channel Chief John DeLozier presented a keynote on the marketing opportunities of digital transformation, and Global Marketing Director Tina Smith gave a Fastball Pitch highlighting how our innovative marketing programs support partners at every level. Speaking directly to our impact, we were especially honored when John DeLozier was given the Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of his success in helping partners create business value for their customers.
From there, we kept the momentum going in May at Dell EMC World. We know how exhausting these conferences can be and how important it is to stay fueled up, so we were glad to sponsor breakfast and lunch each day to keep our partners energized. Only a week later we were at it again at SAP Sapphire Now, where we unveiled our new integrated managed solution with automation and management for SAP applications. We were so excited to highlight our great partnerships with SAP, Cisco and Netapp that make it possible for customers to realize faster time-to-value at lower costs. And though we just wrapped up HPE Discover – where we were particularly thrilled to be recognized as the HPE 2017 Global Service Provider of the Year – we have no intention of taking our foot off the gas.
With CiscoLive! around the corner, we are getting ready to show up big. As a Cisco Gold Partner and event Emerald Sponsor, we plan to connect with as many of the 28,000+ attendees as we can. Whether through product demos or fun games at our booth, one of our speaking presentations, sharing insights on social media, or even a one-on-one meeting, we want to make sure all our partners believe in our commitment to equip them to be the catalyst for change in their organizations, speeding and simplifying their digital transformation.
