CenturyLink and Emmanuel Sanders promote Mile High United Way 2-1-1 Help Center during NFL regular season
CenturyLink will make $1,000 donation for every 211 yards by Sanders and an additional $2,110 if he exceeds 211 yards in any single game

DENVER – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) is partnering with Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in support of the CenturyLink Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 Help Center. CenturyLink will make a $1,000 donation to the 2-1-1 Help Center for every 211 yards gained by Sanders during the regular season and an additional $2,110 if he exceeds 211 yards in any single game, up to a maximum of $10,000.

CenturyLink entered into a partnership with Mile High United Way in 2014 to help fund the 2-1-1 Help Center in the United Way’s new facility.

The CenturyLink Mile High United Way 2-1-1 Help Center is a free and confidential community referral service that in 2014 connected over 100,000 callers with resources that provide food, shelter, rent assistance, clothing, child care options and other types of community assistance. Trained referral specialists are multilingual and available to help individuals connect with resources in the community. In times of crisis and natural disaster, the 2-1-1 Help Center serves as an overflow for non-life-threatening 911 calls.

“I’m excited to promote the Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 Help Center and build awareness for this important community resource,” said Sanders. “I hope this helps engage fans and community members in supporting the Mile High United Way, a local organization that helps make our community stronger as well as a better place to live and work.”

“CenturyLink is proud to support the Mile High United Way through financial contributions, volunteerism, board of director participation and through this new partnership with Emmanuel Sanders in providing support for their 2-1-1 Help Center,” said Rich Karlis, director of sponsorships for CenturyLink.

“We are so very grateful for CenturyLink’s partnership with our Mile High United Way 2-1-1 Help Center. Not only does CenturyLink’s generosity help thousands of Coloradoans every single day, they are setting the bar for companies who become deeply engaged in our community. And to have Emmanuel Sanders run for 2-1-1 every game makes this season even more exciting as we all win,” said Christine Benero, president and CEO of Mile High United Way.
