DENVER, Nov. 28, 2007 — Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced it has signed a multi-year data networking agreement with United States Cold Storage, Inc. (USCS). USCS is a leading public refrigerated warehousing and third-party logistics company, based in Voorhees, N.J., that serves major national and international food producers and distributors.

As USCS’s primary data networking provider, Qwest will connect 30 USCS storage and distribution centers in 12 states with Qwest iQ Networking Services®, Qwest’s wide-area network (WAN) solution. USCS will use iQ Networking to transfer critical data over Qwest’s secure, reliable network as it stores, tracks and ships six billion pounds of temperature-sensitive foods each year.

USCS is also taking advantage of Qwest’s Integrated Management service. Integrated Management allows USCS to focus on its core business while Qwest manages its data network, simplifying their operations and lowering costs for the customer.

“Our business is based on allowing our customers to focus on their core competencies, while USCS performs warehousing, inventory tracking and transportation management for them,” said Tim Brennan, Director of Information Systems, United States Cold Storage. “Qwest is doing the same for us with its network management service. In addition to the value, they have provided us with a superior level of service and responsiveness.”

“Qwest’s network gives USCS the service and reliability they need now and as they grow,” said Tom Richards, executive vice president, Qwest Business Markets Group. “Qwest’s nationwide network is capable of handling large amounts of networking demand, coast to coast.”

Qwest's business market group serves hundreds of thousands of business customers, as well as federal and state government customers, coast-to-coast over Qwest's nationwide fiber-optic network.
