ST. LOUIS, MO — November 28, 2007 — SAVVIS, Inc. (NASDAQ: SVVS), the global leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, today announced the launch of a new hosting service, SAVVIS Foundation Hosting, and the availability of the HP BladeSystem c-Class on SAVVIS’ Intelligent Hosting and Virtual Intelligent Hosting IT infrastructure services.

SAVVIS Foundation Hosting is the newest addition to SAVVIS’ hosting portfolio and serves as a bridge for customers choosing between colocation and managed IT solutions. While the evolution of IT services continues to move toward virtualized and utility services that allow customers to gain the economic benefits of multi-tenant infrastructure, there are still many customers who are not ready to outsource the management of their operating system (OS) so they choose to colocate and internally manage their IT environments.

SAVVIS Foundation Hosting allows colocation customers to maintain control of their OS including licensing, installation, monitoring and management of the OS, but eliminates burdens such as server hardware procurement, racking and stacking, space and power management, and onsite support. The new offering provides use of a dedicated standalone server (supports HP ProLiant DL series servers), network services on SAVVIS’ Hosting Area Network (HAN), colocation space in SAVVIS’ managed hosting area, power for the Foundation Hosting servers, and failed hardware replacement services with a customer-initiated trouble ticket.

SAVVIS Foundation Hosting also provides a remote access feature that allows customers to install their operating systems without requiring physical access to the server. The managed hosting offering is now available in SAVVIS data centers in the US and Asia Pacific regions.

SAVVIS also announced the global availability of the HP BladeSystem c-Class for SAVVIS’ Intelligent Hosting and Virtual Intelligent Hosting IT infrastructure services.

SAVVIS Intelligent Hosting and Virtual Intelligent Hosting (announced October 9, 2007) are highly flexible and scalable managed IT services based on SAVVIS’ hosting and network infrastructure. By deploying the BladeSystem c-Class with these services, customers can achieve higher economies of scale compared to individual server nodes for large implementations via increased power and operational efficiencies. As a dedicated chassis option, customers can populate it with server blades as needed or purchase a filled chassis at a time. Additionally, the offering provides increased customer flexibility in CPU speeds and memory configuration, as well as flexible I/O options to the Hosting Area Network and Storage Area Network for storage.

“SAVVIS continues to broaden its product portfolio with an emphasis on providing customers with an easy migration path from dedicated, colocation solutions to value-added managed and virtualized hosting services that boost cost and performance benefits,” said James Whitemore, SAVVIS’ Chief Marketing Officer. “The availability of the HP BladeSystem c-Class further extends this value proposition – when this option is deployed as part of SAVVIS Intelligent Hosting, customers have the potential to achieve an estimated additional ROI savings of 5-15 percent over comparable platforms for larger deployments in excess of 25 nodes.”

SAVVIS Virtual Intelligent Hosting runs on VMware’s third-generation virtualization software suite and offers business and government enterprises an easy, flexible, and scalable way to benefit from virtualized computing. The solution now offers the BladeSystem c-Class option and VMware software integrated with SAVVIS’ hosting, storage, and network services to deliver a seamless virtualized computing solution that addresses IT infrastructure optimization challenges.

SAVVIS recently completed development and opened four new data centers in the Atlanta, Washington, DC, Silicon Valley and New York metropolitan areas. SAVVIS also recently announced new data centers in development in the Boston, Chicago and Dallas metro areas bringing SAVVIS’ total data center footprint to more that 1.3 million square feet of raised floor encompassing 30 data centers worldwide.
