CHEYENNE, Wyo., March 23, 2009 —Qwest Communications today launched two residential services to new areas of Wyoming: voice mail and qHome™. Both services are brand-new to customers in Gillette, Jackson, Lander-Riverton and Laramie, and are also available to Qwest customers in surrounding towns:
- Gillette area: Recluse, Reno Junction, Rozet, Savageton, Wright
- Jackson area: Bondurant, Hogback Junction, Kelly, Moose, Teton Village, Wilson
- Lander-Riverton area: Arapahoe, Atlantic City, Ethete, Fort Washakie, Hudson, Kinnear, Morton, Pavillion, South Pass City, St. Stephens
- Laramie area: Albany, Centennial, Foxpark, Mountain Home, Woods Landing
While voice mail may seem like a standard feature for the home phone, Qwest voice mail acts as much more than an answering machine. Unanswered calls are automatically routed to a personal voice mailbox, where callers can leave private messages. Qwest voice mail makes it easy to listen to, replay, save and delete messages and allows customers to retrieve messages from any touch-tone phone – whether they are at home or away.
And with the launch of qHome, Qwest's new integrated message manager, Qwest customers can manage their e-mail, voice mail and address books – online and with just a few clicks. This new Web tool – available at no charge to Qwest home phone and high-speed Internet customers – allows customers to have incoming voice mail messages sent to their e-mail accounts.
- Customers can listen to their voice mail messages while checking e-mail;
- manage their voice mail and e-mail messages together;
- view a log of incoming and outgoing calls – from their e-mail box;
- and much more.

Qwest voice mail is available to customers as part of a Qwest Choice™ Home phone package or as an individual feature on their phone line.
Full qHome functionality is available to Qwest customers who have a Qwest Choice Home phone package with caller ID and voice mail; Qwest High-Speed Internet with Windows Live™ (minimum 1.5 Mbps recommended); and a q.com, msn.com, hotmail.com or live.com member name or e-mail address.
