PHOENIX, Mar. 6, 2008 –Qwest today announced more than $15,000 in grants will be divided among three Arizona organizations through the Qwest Family Work & Development Fund (Fund). The Fund is a unique partnership of Qwest and the Communications Workers of America (CWA). The Fund supports family care programs that address the evolving needs of employees, their families and their communities.
- Scott Stevenson – Tu Nidito Children and Family Services, Tucson – Helping Families Impacted by the Death of a Parent, Sibling or Other Loved One
- Donna Hinterberg – The Family School, Phoenix – Provides Expanded Initiatives in Early Childhood Education and After school Programming
- David Leclair – Tent Camps for Children, Phoenix – Planned Summer Camps Mentoring and Intervention for Inner-City and Troubled Youth
