(NYSE: Q) today announced an expansion of its existing relationship with Deere & Company, the world?s leading producer of agricultural and forestry equipment. The new five-year contract for high-speed data network services builds upon the companies? existing business relationship that spans more than 10 years.

Under the expanded service agreement, Qwest will provide Deere with a secure and reliable network environment allowing its employees to communicate across its three Des Moines, Iowa locations. Using Qwest?s high-speed, self-healing network gives Deere & Company greater capability to process its customers? high-volume equipment orders faster and while minimizing the risk of network failures.
