DENVER, May 1, 2003 ? Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that it has been awarded the contract to provide voice and data services for Denver Health?s recently expanded Westwood Clinic, a facility that was created to serve members of the Denver community needing primary health care, including the disenfranchised and underserved. The new clinic is slated to open May 1 at 4320 W. Alaska Avenue in Denver.

Under the contract, Qwest will provide the primary phone service for the Westwood Clinic as well as high-speed data solutions that will link Denver Health employees to patient records, medical research and the World Wide Web.

?Qwest has won the contract in many of our facilities. We rely on them to make sure our phones and email work,? said Gregg Veltri, chief information officer, Denver Health, ?But we also have enjoyed a good relationship based on teamwork and mutual respect.?
