Qwest Communications Delivers First Personalized Voice Portal Services On Wireless Phones; Leverages BeVocal Technology

Denver, October 30, 2000 — Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q), the broadband Internet communications company, today announced that Qwest Wireless is the first carrier in the U.S. to deliver a "talking Internet" service over wireless phones. Qwest Voice Browsing provides business locator services and personalized, up-to-date news, sports, traffic, airline, stock quotes and weather information to consumers and small businesses in eight western and midwestern states.
