(NYSE:Q) and Bell Canada, Canada's national leader in communications, today announced an agreement that significantly enhances the quality and reliability of telephone services to residential and business customers making international long-distance calls between Canada and the United States. The multi-year interconnection agreement provides both companies ? and their customers ? with high-quality, cost-effective voice termination and toll-free services between Canada and the United States.

International voice traffic between Canada and the U.S. represents the largest volume of international long-distance traffic in the world. Telephone traffic between the two countries is estimated to be over 12 billion minutes of use per year.
