ST. LOUIS & LONDON -- December 7, 2005 – SAVVIS, Inc. (NASDAQ:SVVS), a leading global utility services provider and Loyalty Management Services (LMS), today announced that LMS is deploying SAVVIS’ Managed IT Utility Services as the global IT infrastructure which will deliver loyalty programmes as a managed service to businesses worldwide.

LMS will run its business applications using SAVVIS’ utility storage and blade servers, as well as associated virtualised switches, load balancers and firewalls. These utility services provide LMS with a flexible, scalable infrastructure that maximises cost-savings by leveraging economies of scale and matching capacity to demand. LMS will also use SAVVIS’ global Tier-1 network to connect to over 50 business partners throughout the United Kingdom.

“In early 2005, we realised that a utility platform would help us fulfill our vision to provide dynamic, cost-effective loyalty solutions to businesses worldwide,” said Mark Brighton, Commercial Director of LMS. “SAVVIS’ utility model adds value to our services by allowing our clients to tailor both availability and performance to seasonal demands. This reduces total cost of ownership because our clients can increase power and access during specific periods, rather than paying for it throughout the year. In addition, the ability to add computing power and storage in a matter of days, not weeks, dramatically reduces our time-to-market and offers another compelling value proposition to potential clients.”

LMS is an innovative business launched by Loyalty Management UK, creator of the popular Nectar loyalty programme that offers outsourced, end-to-end loyalty management solutions for businesses of all kinds. LMS’ complete solution includes enhanced data analytics, data hosting, campaign management, data management services and all vendor and supplier communication and points collection. In addition, LMS can provide components of their program on a piece-by-piece basis or assist with targeted campaigns. Ultimately, LMS’ services allow companies to implement cost-effective loyalty management programmes that become an important element of the overall branding process.

“LMS provides the IT and operations for the hugely successful loyalty programme, Nectar, in the UK. Now that same expertise is being made available for the global market. As LMS’ business expands throughout the UK and beyond, our network and infrastructure capabilities will grow with them to support their IT requirements and the needs of their clients,”said Richard Warley, Managing Director of EMEA, SAVVIS.
