EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan Plus(SM) makes the home phone cool by integrating it with the customer's wireless service allowing customers to conveniently control where they take the call, when to take the call and what phone to use with new calling feature capabilities -- EMBARQ(TM) Find Me/Follow Me with EMBARQ(TM) Call Transfer.
With EMBARQ(TM) Find Me/Follow Me feature, customers can link their home phone with the other phones in their life. A call to a customer's home number could simultaneously ring their wireless phone or be directed to any alternate phone if there is no answer. This allows customers to answer the phone that is more convenient for them, whether they're at home or on the go.
Using the "live" EMBARQ(TM) Call Transfer feature, customers can easily transfer calls they've received on their home phone to any other wireless or landline phone they have pre-selected without interrupting the call. The call can then be either transferred back to the originally called number or to a third number, helping to reduce the number of wireless minutes customers use when they are at home.

No special equipment is required to use the EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan Plus(SM) calling features. They will work with the customer's existing EMBARQ home phone service and any wireless service. However, customers with EMBARQ(TM) Wireless service can also direct unanswered wireless phone calls to ring multiple devices. The calling features are simple to use and settings are easy to change via a specialized web portal on embarq.com. EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan Plus(SM) subscribers can control their personal communication including call location, device priority, number of rings allowed for each call, and whether or not the calling party has to provide identification. The web portal also gives customers the option to have calls forwarded during a specific time of day or day of the week.
The EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan Plus(SM) calling features, including Find Me/Follow Me and Call Transfer, is available to EMBARQ(TM) customers with the Basic Home Phone and Voicemail package for an additional monthly rate of $4.50. Later this year, customers can stop by an EMBARQ retail store for a demonstration on how the new calling features work.
The EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan Plus(SM) is an enhancement to the EMBARQ(TM) Together Plan(SM) launched in February which also provides customers with EMBARQ(TM) One Voicemail and one bill.
