PHOENIX – In celebration of Thanksgiving, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL), will provide free turkeys to attendees at the “19th Annual South Phoenix McDonald's Thanksgiving Celebration”' as part of its commitment to the local community and to assisting families in need during the holiday season. Since 2000, CenturyLink has been a proud partner of the annual South Phoenix Thanksgiving Celebration, which is hosted by local McDonald's Owner/Operator Julian Nabozny and serves thousands of families on Thanksgiving day.

CenturyLink employees have provided more than 3,600 free turkeys to members of the community over the past 12 years, and this year will provide an additional 300 to families. In addition to the opportunity to receive a free turkey, event attendees can enjoy free breakfast and live entertainment by local musicians. The event will be held from 8:00-11:30 a.m. Nov. 22 at the McDonald's restaurant located at 6005 Central Avenue (Central and Southern Avenues).

Some of those activities include holiday canned food and toy drives, stocking stuffing for children and providing gifts to students at elementary schools.
