Eligible customers can begin ordering service today

DENVERCenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) today announced that the Denver City Council has approved the expansion of its video franchise agreement to bring CenturyLink® Prism™ TV service to neighborhoods in metro Denver, giving customers the latest in entertainment technology and an alternative to cable and satellite services.

The Denver City Council approved the expansion of CenturyLink’s video franchise service last night, allowing CenturyLink to offer its advanced Prism™ TV services to eligible customers in metro Denver neighborhoods beginning today.

Delivered through CenturyLink’s fiber optic network, the interactive features offered by Prism™ TV include a wireless set-top box, whole-home DVR,  a mobile app for watching programming at home or on the go, video on demand, and an app center for accessing social network sites. In addition, Prism™ TV offers premium mobile content from HBO GO®, MAX GO®, STARZ Play and SHOWTIME Anytime® and a large selection of sports channels, including the NFL Network, SEC Network, Pac-12 Network and Big Ten Network.

“CenturyLink is already the broadband leader in this area by offering Internet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second, and now we’re pleased to add Denver to the list of cities in Colorado that can experience our Prism™ TV service,” said Penny Larson, CenturyLink vice president of operations. “We appreciate the support of Mayor Michael B. Hancock and the Denver City Council who helped in making this service available in metro Denver.”

“Denver city leaders were very eager to partner with us so we could begin offering our Denver customers a new choice for their television services,” said Jim Campbell, CenturyLink regional vice president of regulatory and legislative affairs for the Midwest. “Prism™ TV is different from other television services in the Denver area. Prism delivers a digital connection to homes over CenturyLink’s global high-speed fiber-optic network, offering the latest entertainment technology, including more HD channels than cable and satellite.”

Prism™ TV is also available in Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Colorado Springs, Eagle, Edwards, Gypsum, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, Parker, Sedalia and parts of Douglas and Jefferson Counties.

Residents who want to learn more about Prism™ TV or see if the service is available in their area can go to the CenturyLink retail store located at 1600 Stout Street in Denver, or online at www.centurylink.com/prismtv. Customers can also go to www.centurylink.com/prismtvme to sign up to be notified when the service is available in their area.
