To commemorate its 85th anniversary as well as its legacy of service to its communities, the company chose April 11, CenturyLink Volunteer Day, to announce its commitment to complete 85 community volunteer projects nationwide over the remainder of the year.
On CenturyLink Volunteer Day, a national day of community service, CenturyLink employees around the country will participate in numerous company-sponsored projects such as a Habitat for Humanity build in Albuquerque, serving breakfast at the Denver Rescue Mission and a city-wide recycling event in Seattle, as well as existing opportunities within their communities. Employees will continue to celebrate the company’s 85th anniversary throughout 2015 by participating in various community projects.
