CenturyLink employees volunteer more than 1,500 hours across 12 states
Each April, in honor of National Volunteer Week, we encourage employees to help their communities through projects as part of our CenturyLink Celebrates Volunteerism day of service.
On April 22, 240 CenturyLink employees, friends and family members across 12 states volunteered more than 1,500 hours in a variety of projects serving food banks, animal shelters, youth organizations, beautification projects, recycling efforts and much more.
Giving back to our communities is a part of our employees’ daily routine. Throughout the year, we have employees serving as mentors, supporting arts initiatives, working with families in crisis, helping care for animals and much more. They volunteer as part of CenturyLink team projects, individually or with friends and family and we support their efforts through our Matching Time Grant program which allows employees to earn a grant of $500 twice a year for the non-profits they volunteer with.
Thank you to all of our employees who gave their time to support this effort.
