CenturyLink officers receive Patriot Award

CenturyLink’s Chief Financial Officer Stewart Ewing, and David Cole, executive vice president of operations support and controller, received the Employee Support for Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award by Lt. Cmdr. Christopher Lewis, SC, USN (Supply Corp, United States Navy). Stewart and David were nominated for their support of Lt. Cmdr. Lewis, who serves as CenturyLink’s Director of Integration and Program Management and has performed more than 120 days of reserved service from 2012 to 2014. The Patriot Award honors supervisors for their superior support of Guard and Reserve employees. Nominations must come from a Guard or Reserve member or a family member.

 
Puget Sound Business Journal Women of Influence

Sue Anderson, CenturyLink’s Vice President and General Manager for the Puget Sound region, was named a Puget Sound Business Journal Women of Influence award winner. The program shines the spotlight on local business women and community leaders in the region.

CenturyLink named Best Internet Provider – Des Moines Business Record

CenturyLink was named the Best Internet Provider in Des Moines, Iowa.
 
CenturyLink received the “Bridging the Gap" award from Florida Virtual School; it also received "Outstanding Partner of the Year" from the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. 
 
CenturyLink received first place in the Internet Service category in the reader’s choice Best of the Best awards presented by the Dunn Daily Record in Harnett County, North Carolina.  

For the third consecutive year, CenturyLink was named to the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Million Dollar Circle of Excellence for Arizona companies spending more than one million dollars in supplier diversity.
 
CenturyLink was named Local Best award winner in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, for Internet and Telephone service.
 
CenturyLink® Prism™ TV won Best TV/Satellite Provider in the 2014 Reader’s Choice Awards presented by The Daily Herald in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

CenturyLink won Best Internet Provider, Best Website, and Best Local Website in the 2014 Reader’s Choice Awards presented by the Roanoke Chowan Herald in Ahoskie, North Carolina.
 

CenturyLink was voted the best place to work in the Best of the Delta competition hosted by Delta Style in Louisiana.

CenturyLink named 2014 Company of the Year by Indiana Telecommunications Association

CenturyLink was named the 2014 Company of the Year by the Indiana Telecommunications Association (ITA). The ITA is a 116-year-old trade association representing telecom companies providing services to customers throughout the state.

CenturyLink wins two Telly Awards

The CenturyLink Boise, Idaho, “Your Link to What’s Next” video received a Bronze Telly award as well as a People’s Telly award. The 35th Annual Telly Awards received nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states as well as from numerous countries around the world.

CenturyLink Named 2014 Outstanding Partner by Consortium of Florida Education Foundations (CFEF)​

In recognition of the private/public partnerships key to the efforts of Florida's school district-wide local education foundations, the CFEF names honorees in each category annually. In the private-sector category, CenturyLink was singled out for their long-term involvement with education foundations within their 30 county Florida service territory and their recent commitment to helping teachers use develop new technology-driven classroom instruction strategies.

CenturyLink's Minneapolis-St. Paul Data Center is First and Only Colocation Facility in Minnesota to Earn Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility

CenturyLink’s data center in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MP2, received Uptime Institute's coveted Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility. MP2 is the first colocation data center in Minnesota to receive this award, which signifies that the design, construction, andcommissioning meet the Uptime Institute's rigorous criteria for Concurrent Maintainability.

The Greenwood, South Carolina, market received the Readers’ Choice Award for Best Provider from the Index-Journal newspaper.
