Research Shows Amount of Time Spent on Homework Is Increasingv

The number of high school sophomores who spent more than 10 hours a week on homework jumped from 7 percent in 1980 to 37 percent in 2002, according to research conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics (September, 2006).
