Qwest and Best Buy Now Make Getting High-Speed Internet Easier Than Ever

DENVER, April 28, 2004 ? Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that Qwest DSL products and services are now available to customers via 82 Best Buy locations throughout Qwest?s 14-state local service area.

Customers visiting Best Buy stores can determine if they are eligible for Qwest?s high-speed Internet service and order the service at the store. Customers can also learn about the company?s Wi-Fi-capable DSL modem, which allows DSL customers to share their high-speed Internet connection with multiple computers anywhere in their home via an easy-to-install wireless network.

?With more and more people using the Internet to work from home as well as for shopping, banking and games, high-speed Internet access is very important to customers,? said Jim Vogel, vice president of sales for Qwest. ?By offering Qwest DSL at convenient locations such as Best Buy, we are bringing high-speed Internet access closer to everyone and ensuring that the service is as easy to purchase as possible.?
