Qwest Taps Lowell Miller to Run

DENVER, June 11, 2008 — Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced that Lowell G. Miller will join the company to fill a newly created position as vice president for eBusiness operations. A 24-year airline industry veteran, Miller will report to Paula Kruger, the executive vice president for mass markets. 

Miller comes to Qwest from Frontier, where he directed the transformation of the airline’s Website into a major growth engine for the company, increasing online bookings by more than 21 percent in 12 months.
“In today’s Internet marketplace, it’s imperative that Qwest deliver a simple and effective online shopping experience,” Paula Kruger said. “Lowell’s leadership and extensive e-commerce background will elevate the role of as a major driver of revenue growth and margin.”
