(NYSE: Q) today announced that it has two new company retail stores in the Phoenix area, bringing the total number of Arizona locations to six. The move is part of a region-wide expansion that includes 27 new retail stores since April. The company operates stores in Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Qwest?s first-of-its-kind retail concept focuses on a unique service environment: the Qwest Solution Center?. This retail setting makes Qwest the only communications provider to offer personal, face-to-face assistance for a full spectrum of communications choices all in one place.

At Qwest Solution Centers, customers can sample and purchase products and talk to experts about Qwest wireless, high-speed Internet service, home-phone packages and long-distance service. Additionally, the centers offer technical assistance and minor repairs for wireless handsets, answer billing inquiries, assist with feature changes and have a convenient bill drop location. New Solutions Centers are open now at Desert Sky Mall and the Metrocenter in Phoenix. Other Qwest locations include: 5090 N. 40th Street and 10220 North 25th Drive in Phoenix, as well as Tucson Mall and Park Place Mall in Tucson.
