DENVER, April 7, 2008 –Qwest today announced more than $10,000 in grants will be divided among three Colorado organizations through the Qwest Family Work & Development Fund (Fund). The Fund is a unique partnership of Qwest and the Communications Workers of America (CWA). The Fund supports family care programs that address the evolving needs of employees, their families and their communities.
The following Qwest Colorado employees and their nominated organizations were awarded grants through the Fund for 2008:

The primary objective of the Fund is to provide new or expanded initiatives in the areas of child, youth, disabled adult or elder-care services.
