Enhanced Qwest Control Online Portal Makes it Easier for Business Customers to Manage Qwest Services and Accounts

DENVER, July 13, 2004 ? Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced recent enhancements to Qwest Control?, the company?s online customer self-service portal. Qwest Control?s simpler navigation and improved system performance makes it easier for Qwest business customers to manage their accounts and services, view and pay bills online, create trouble tickets and access network statistics to monitor network performance.

Available to customers at no additional charge, the secure Web portal is accessible through a Web browser or any PC with Internet access.

Qwest Control is the ideal network management solution for all Qwest business customers ? from small-to-medium-sized, multi-location businesses to large enterprise operations. Qwest Control helps business customers maximize their use of Qwest services through a simple Web interface for monitoring network status, submitting trouble tickets and paying bills online.
