DENVER, Nov. 15, 2007 – Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced it has signed an exclusive 2-year agreement worth approximately $1.3 million with Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD) to provide Qwest iQ Networking® services and high-speed data solutions. With offices in Texas, California, Missouri and overseas, Diodes is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application-specific standard products within the broad discrete and analog semiconductor markets.
A customer since 2005, Diodes selected Qwest for its industry-leading wide area network (WAN) and multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) technologies, and proven ability to deliver superior service while meeting critical timelines. Using a combination of Qwest iQ Networking, private and Internet port technology and CPE solutions, Qwest has designed a global network that will seamlessly connect Diodes’ growing domestic and international operations in California, Texas, Missouri, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, as well as in Europe.
