BMA Corporation Banks on Qwest ATM/Frame Relay Service for Secure and Reliable Customer Transactions

DENVER, Dec. 4, 2007 – Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) today announced it has signed an exclusive 5-year agreement with BMA Corporation, a leading provider of core processing services to community banking institutions. For more than 50 years, Salt Lake City-based BMA has delivered cost effective on-line banking solutions and advanced core processing services to enable their customers to compete in the ever-changing banking environment. 
Qwest was selected based on its proven ability to design and deliver a fully redundant data network for customers whose businesses demand the highest levels of reliable and secure connectivity. Using a combination of advanced frame relay and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) services, Qwest designed a comprehensive solution to connect 39 BMA customers located across the United States.

With these services, BMA now has a fully redundant network capable of transferring large amounts of customer data while protecting this critical business traffic with immediate data back-up and storage. Every customer transaction is captured and stored on BMA’s primary mainframe computer and simultaneously stored on a second computer at a separate location.
